The 1st Research Meeting (kickoff meeting) was held.

Thorough and face-to-face discussions are imperative for integrating different fields.
After much preparation on the web, the face-to-face research meeting was finally held.
The members and advisors from each research group got together in order to present their projects and held multifaceted discussions from the viewpoint of various fields such as neuroscience, robotics, and computational theory.
The participants were particularly engaged in a heated discussion as to the scientific definition of envy and how to facilitate research on rodents, primates, and robots.
We will clarify the nature of envy by taking full advantage of the knowledge gained by integrating different research areas.
