Envy of Rodents:
Exploration of envy generative modules by whole-brain activity measurements

The objective of this research is to elucidate the brain activity dynamics that occur specifically in comparative situation of the self and others, rather than simple neuronal response to an offending stimulus. To this end, brain-wide activation mapping and simultaneous multiregional activity measurement of the emotional core network will be conducted.

Envy of Non-Human Primates:
Information processing mechanisms of comparison core module between self and others

Elucidation of neural mechanisms playing a key role to generate envy from the understanding of situations between self and others. This research involves the creation of envy generative targets applicable to non-human primate individuals and extensive use of large-scale multiregional activity measurement methods, including emotional core regional networks.
