The 1st Summer Training Course was held on August 8 and 9.
Our area of research primarily focuses on deepening the understanding of social emotions through the integration of neuroscience (based on biological experiments) and computational theory. Until now, researchers in biological systems generally lacked an understanding of computational theory, and those in theoretical systems did not understand the challenges faced by researchers in experimental biological systems. To address this issue, training courses are scheduled to be conducted in order to integrate experimental and theoretical systems. In the first training course, Dr. Hirokazu TANAKA of the A03 Group delivered a lecture on computational neuroscience. He ran programs to deepen the understanding of students, in addition to textbook explanations. The members from each group also presented their data analysis methods and discussed their usability and compatibility.
